Specializing in luxury waterfront homes, deep water dockage, yacht properties, and strategic real estate opportunities throughout Harbor Beach and Las Olas Isles.
I learned Fort Lauderdale from the waterways themselves.
Bryan Hayes / Fidelity Real Estate
I started as a runner on the trading floor. Nobody trusted me with anything important. That changed.
I spent my career at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange — working my way from fetching orders in the pit to owning my own trading desk in equity index futures. My specialty was the transition from open-outcry floor trading to electronic markets, specifically the E-mini S&P 500. I didn't predict the future. I just paid close attention and tried not to be the last one to figure it out.
When the floors went quiet, I moved into real estate — first as an investor buying properties, then as the agent I honestly wish I'd had. Same skill set, different asset class: read the market, understand the risk, and don't overpay because you fell in love with the kitchen.
My wife Molly and I moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2023, which sounds impulsive until you realize I've been coming here my whole life and finally ran out of reasons to say no. I focus on waterfront luxury and investment properties — the homes where the dock matters. I also hold a USCG Masters License, race sailboats competitively, and know these waterways the way most agents know their MLS search filters.
I work directly with Jim Morlock at Fidelity Real Estate — one of the most respected waterfront brokerages in Fort Lauderdale. Between Jim's decades on the isles and my daily presence in these neighborhoods, we know things about these properties that don't show up in the listing.

Before specializing in Fort Lauderdale waterfront real estate, I spent a year professionally navigating the city’s waterways, giving more than 200 boat tours through the canals and waterfront neighborhoods that define Fort Lauderdale’s boating lifestyle today.
That firsthand understanding of navigability, dockage, ocean access, and waterfront living continues to shape my perspective on luxury waterfront real estate throughout Harbor Beach, Las Olas Isles, and Fort Lauderdale’s premier boating communities.
Fort Lauderdale is best understood from the water — and that perspective remains central to how I evaluate waterfront properties, boating access, and long-term waterfront value.
